Initial Magazine Idea

I have decided to call my magazine "soundwave", but this may be changed at a later date. I am going to produce a music magazine, based around the genre, Rock. I am going to include lots of things that are linked to the different kind of genre's within Rock music. My target audience is females, aged 15+. At the moment i am going to price my magazine at £2.50 as i think i am going to include a few interviews and pictures, and i feel this is a reasonable price for my target audience, as alot of people of that age have jobs or get pocket money from their parents. From my audience research, i gained evidence that my audience likes to read not only music magazines, but Fashion and Celebrity magazines as well, so i think i am going to try and include all of these things in my magazine, but make sure they all fit in with the genre of my magazine. I am going to release my magazine monthly, as i feel weekly is too much, and if it is released monthly, there will be alot of information in my magazine, and it will be well worth the price. My audience likes to see images and interviews in magazines more than anything, so i am going to include images, and interviews with new bands. I am going to advertise products from the most popular shop within my target audience, which is New look, but because this is a music magazine, i am going to advertise products sold by HMV, even though this wasn't the most popular, and also advertise local music shops.
